Airwatergreen Group receives prestigeous export prize

Airwatergreen Group AB, the mother company of Drupps AB, has received Export Hermes Upcoming Star 2018, a prestigeous prize awarded annually to export-oriented companies with exceptional accomplishments.

The statement from the jury:

“Airwatergreen Group wins the prize not only for its game-changing technology for creating water from the atmosphere’s humidity, but also for its great potential as a successful exporter.

“Airwatergreen Group meets a large need for freshwater in water scarcity regions through its revolutionizinig technology and concept. They are worthy recipients of this prize”, says Anders Lundwall, Chairman of the Foundation for Export Development, the originator of the prize.

The prizes were awarded today by the Foundation for Export Development at the Tendensdagen at the Oscar Theatre in Stockholm. Export Hermes has since 1981 been awarded to Swedish companies who have accomplished exceptional export successes and through which contributed to Swedish wealth and growth.

There were two other recipients of Export Hermes 2018, 1) Morakniv AB who has exported quality knives since more than 100 years, and 2) Icehotel AB who creates extraordinary tourist experiences for a world audience in far-north Sweden through their hotel made entirely of crystal clear ice from local rivers.

Recipients of the prize shall have a stable and growing export to many countries based on a well-developed marketing idea and a good profitability.


The prize is awarded to a young exporting company that meets the criteria of having started its internationalization/exports, and to have an interesting strategy and able to show a large international potential.

The prizes are awarded by the Foundation for Export development that was founded by Sveriges Allmänna Utrikeshandelsförening, Sveriges Marknadsförbund, Företagsekonomiska Institutet (FEI) and Mercuri-Schartauanerna. Visit the foundation website at
