Drupps Concept employs a series of efficient purification steps including distilling that are designed to prevent any airborne pollutant from making it through the production process. This makes Drupps Concept a reliable water production tool even for users in places with high air pollution.

The purification steps are one of Drupps Concept’s key strengths compared to traditional AWGs where all airborne substances present in the air fall into the same water bucket.

 

Chemical aspects

In the table below, chemical parameters in the water provided by Drupps using an end step with activated carbon is compared with different water standards and the WHO guideline for drinking water. The values marked with * are not of health concern according the the WHO water guideline but may affect the appearance, taste or odour.

Radiological aspects

Radioactivity from several naturally occurring and human-made sources is present throughout the environment. These are found in varying amounts in soils, water, indoor and outdoor air. Therefore it is suggested to investigate the produced water on site to ensure the water quality and take appropriate actions on detection.

Microbial aspects

According the the WHO guidelines for drinking water quality, infectious diseases caused by pathogenic bacteria, viruses, protozoa and helminths are the most common and widespread health risk associated with drinking water. Furthermore, boiling water is an efficient way to kill all disease-causing pathogens.

Since the air water stored in FLOW is extracted through a boiling process, the water leaving the evaporator is free from disease-causing pathogens. However, the customer needs to take the right precautions to keep the water safe.
