We are entering an exciting phase of growth with increasing system deliveries, installations at customer sites, and continued product development. To support this journey, we are now looking for a skilled and hands-on Electrical Systems Engineer to take ownership of our electrical systems and ensure compliance, safety, and performance across our products.
About the role
You will be responsible for the design, development, and safety of the electrical systems in Drupps’ products. You will ensure that our systems meet all relevant standards and regulations while also contributing to product development and continuous improvement.
This is a key role bridging practical implementation, system design, and regulatory compliance.
What you will do
Design, develop, and maintain electrical system architecture for our products
Take overall responsibility for electrical safety in Drupps’ systems
Ensure compliance with relevant directives and standards (e.g., Low Voltage Directive, EMC, CE marking)
Lead and support CE certification processes for electrical systems
Be part of the R&D team, contributing to product development and innovation
Participate in installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting at customer sites abroad
Identify improvements and optimizations in system performance and reliability
Work with external partners, suppliers, and certification bodies when needed
Qualifications
Background in electrical engineering, electrical systems, automation, or similar (formal degree is a plus, but not required)
Several years of experience working with electrical systems in industrial or technical environments
Basic understanding of electrical safety and standards (e.g., LVD, EMC), or a strong interest in learning and developing within this area
Experience with CE marking processes and documentation
Practical, hands-on experience with electrical installations, wiring, or system integration
Ability to work both independently and as part of a cross-functional team
Fluent in English; Swedish is a strong plus; fluency in either Spanish, Portuguese or Hindi is of merit
Bonus if you have experience with
Industrial machinery or process systems
Control systems or PLCs

Sustainability or energy-related technologies
Who you are
You probably have a background in electrical engineering, automation, or something similar. Maybe through formal education, maybe through experience.

Curious and eager to improve both products and processes
Interest in hands-on development of system prototypes
Structured and detail-oriented, especially when working with safety and compliance
Flexible and adaptable to changing requirements in a fast-growing company
