Drupps Heat
Maximizing water and energy recovery from industrial airstreams
Drupps Heat
Optimizing water and latent heat recovery
Drupps Heat is unique in its ability to extract water and its latent heat from an airstream. By absorbing airborne water molecules and transforming it into liquid water while releasing its latent heat it can go well beyond what air cooling technology achieve.
-
Maximize water recycling
Recovers more airborne wastewater than air cooling can reach
-
No moulding or bacterial growth
Absium is resistant to moulding or bacterial growth
-
Recovers more energy
Recycles more latent heat than air cooling can reach reduces net energy need
-
Reduces CO₂ emission
Reduced net energy use means less fossil fuels and CO₂ emissions
Physical appearance
Connects to the entering and exiting airflows
Drupps Heat is built on the outside of the drying facility where it connects to the inlet and outlet airflows.
Ground space required for the installation can be optimized according to what space is available by building vertically using platform structures.
Short ROI
Recycling water using absorption is a smart investment
The unique ability of Drupps Heat to maximize recovery of both water and latent heat from airborne wastewater results in a shorter return on investment.
By increasing the customer’s production capacity per drying cycle while minimizing downtime due to no moulding or bacterial growth, ROI is shortened even more.
Drupps Heat is a perfect match for the malt drying industry
Minimized downtime
No moulding or bacterial growth
Drupps Heat applies Absium, a liquid solution, to absorb water from airborne wastewater. Absium efficiently removes fungi or bacteria from the airflows, which reduces moulding and bacterial growth compared to glass tube systems. This minimizes operational downtime and improves hygiene for our customers.
High water purity
Water is of distilled quality and ready to use
Water recycled by Drupps Heat is of distilled purity and of drinking quality. After the distillation step, produced water passes a post-treatment step comprising filtering by sand and activated carbon to truly safeguard water quality.
