Drupps Vapor
Recovers water and heat. Solves plume abatement. For spray dryers and atomizers.
What is Drupps Vapor?
Drupps vapor is a system that captures airborne moisture from dusty airstreams to recover water and heat.
Once in place, the system processes air and removes particles from the airstream so condensers can be used. Drupps vapor consists of scalable modules that are connected together in various combinations to adapt to the user’s requirements in terms of capacity, energy availability and space.

Process description
Drupps Vapor connects to the chimney of your spray dryer via ducting.
Exhaust air is scrubbed from particles in the particle removal system.
Water vapor is condensed into water in the water recovery system. Here plume is removed.
Hot water is recovered back into the process.
Performance of 2-module system
Water recovery rate - Amount of recovered water as a function of ambient temperature and water content in the fume.
Heat recovery - Recovered heat as a function of ambient temperature and water content in the fume.
Water recovery - Percentage of water recovered as a function of temperature and water content in the fume.
Water efficiency - Electricity consumed by m3 of water produced as a function of ambient temperature and water content in the fume.
